                        ABOUT US

The Canary and Finch Society is a non-profit educational organization.   Our purpose is to promote all caged birds, particularly the canary and finch, through educational programs, group discussions, publications, fairs, and bird shows.   We meet  on the second Sunday of each month at 2 P.M. in the Community Room at the  Pasadena Towne Square Mall in Pasadena, Texas (Houston metro area).  Our meetings are free and open to the public.  Membership is $15 per year single and $20 per year dual and includes our monthly newsletter.   In addition to our meetings, we sponsor two major events per year.  The first is our Caged Bird Trade Fair held during the spring of the year.  The second is our annual Texas Cage Bird Exhibition and Trade Fair (see our flyer) held on the last Saturday of October in League City, Texas.  Please explore our web site for more information about our club and our events and join us at our monthly meeting for fun, fellowship, and bird talk.

The Pasadena Towne Square Mall is about a mile or so south of Hwy 225 on Pasadena Blvd., Pasadena, TX.  When you get to the mall, go to the Harris Street side and enter the parking lot behind Dillards.  The community room is behind Dillards.   Look for our sign that we place on the sidewalk close to the exterior entrance door.  If you are in the mall, go to the back of the food court past the public restrooms and you will see a sign on a doorway that says community room.
